The house and its location
Casa Alquilar is a beautiful 4 bedroom house in the historic town of Betanzos. It has a large rear garden and is located on a quiet street on the outskirts of the town.
The house is a 20 minute drive from la Coruna city and a 40 minute drive from Galicia's capital city of Santiago de Compostela. Both these cities have international airports with incoming flights from Britain, Ireland and the USA.
The accommodation
- The property is detached with the accommodation spread over two floors.
- The house has 2 reception rooms, a formal dining room, a breakfast kitchen and a bathroom at ground floor level.
- The house has one on suite bedroom, 3 further bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor.
- The out building has room for one car and also has a washing machine and spin drier.
- Facilities include, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, foreman grill, iron and ironing board and hair drier. The on suite bathroom and downstairs bathroom both have showers and the upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower.
- The house has a daily maid service and the linen is replaced every week.
A home from home
Casa Alquilar has a modern but relaxed decor with a large 3 piece suite in the living room and a dinning room table that can comfortably seat 8 large adults.
As you will see from the photos below, all the rooms are light and airy and the living room has patio doors that lead out to a large rear garden and terrace. There is also patio furniture for alfresco eating during Galicia's warm summer evenings.
The upper accommodation comprises 4 good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom is on suite and has a large king sized bed, whilst the other 3 bedrooms each have two single beds. There is ample wardrobe space in all 4 bedrooms and the two rooms to the back of the house overlook the Galician countryside.
Availability and tariffs
The house is available for rent all year round with a minimum stay of one week. A single weeks rental is based on a Saturday to Saturday stay, but with daily flights arriving in Galicia this is negotiable and based on any existing bookings.
- Our tariff from January to May and September to December is £330 per week.
- Our tariff from June to the end of August is £510 per week.
We require a 15% non returnable deposit to secure the booking. Full payment (of the balance) for the period of rental plus a £150 returnable security deposit must be made no later than 5 weeks prior to the commencement of stay.
The security deposit will only be withheld if the property is subject to damage. If this is the case, the amount necessary to fund any repairs will be subtracted from the security deposit and the balance returned.
On receipt of the rental balance we will send you driving directions to the property along with details of our property contact in the area. She will then meet you at the house on your arrival and give you the house key and an information pack about the house and area.
